A series of these landscape works was the result of a trip of the author on one of the tributaries inYenisei. At the invitation of the writer and hunter Viktor Remizov the author visited the impassable overland places that can be reached by barge, bypassing the rapids rivers, only once a year in those two months in the spring. These places are just as amazing in beauty and severity, as an Old Believers living in small villages along the banks of the Podkamennaya Tunguska.
